The 2019, Reel People Care Gala, formerly known as the, “Winter Gala” at Pinewood Atlanta Studios is scheduled for Saturday January 12, 2019. This will be the 6th Annual black tie event, and is privately funded to provide support for 17 local charities. The event will take place in Stage 17, Pinewoods newest 40,000 square foot stage.
This year's theme is, Georgia Home Grown and will incorporate a host of fun, creative experiences coordinated by C&S Film Concierge is supported by generosity of the over 40 Vendors at Pinewood Atlanta Production Centre. C&S Experience Planners, Sally Herman and Cyndi Plunkett are excited about this year's event, especially as the additional space will allow for even greater contributions to the local non-profits that participate. The goal of the GALA is to be the hottest ticket of the year and a once a year opportunity to experience the magic of Hollywood in Fayette County.
Last year's spy themed Gala raised over $150,000 for local charities. Approximately 600 guests purchased tickets from local charities and were treated to spy movie experiences, a custom make-up trailer where bruises, wounds and glamour make-up were administered. Guests interacted with animal actors, got action shots in front of Green Screen and the opportunity to bid on items at the silent auction. A fabulous meal will be catered by Hanna Brother's Extreme Motion Picture Caterers. The 2018 event will feature even more experiences and start the new year off right.
Among the-non profits that will benefited from the 201 8Gala are: A Better Way Ministries, Association of Village Pride, Fayette Senior Services, Bloom, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, only to name a few.
